Houstonians are now enjoying unprecedented levels of global connectivity through its airports. Houston is the only city in North America with nonstop service to all inhabitable continents.

This group of dedicated volunteers provide comfort at hospitals, special needs centers, schools, and nursing homes — and now is available at Bush Intercontinental.

The growing partnership makes Bush Intercontinental the only airport in North America — and one of only five in the world — with connections to all six inhabited continental regions.

Univision-branded stores feature various products, including snacks and beverages that represent Latin America, as well as all the basic travel essentials.

An army of volunteers helped welcome supporters from all four schools both at George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU) airports. They were on hand to help with information about the game, transportation and more. 

ecopark 2 will offer a cost efficient on-airport parking option, including quick access to the terminal buildings via a free 24/7 shuttle service.

Airport staff designed and constructed a 20 ft. float that dazzled parade goers. The float featured a carriage pulling a large airplane with the airports’ connection message.

Still in the developmental stage, construction in Phase 1 will eventually include a co-working space located near the Houston Aerospace Support Center, as well as land for several aerospace companies, and more.

More than 875,000 passengers are expected to travel through George Bush Intercontinental Airport and more than 320,000 are projected to travel through William P. Hobby Airport during this time of year.

In a report released August 5, 2015, Moody's Investors Service upgraded the subordinate lien rating of the Airport System to A1 and affirmed the Aa3 senior lien rating and the A2 inferior lien rating.

Nonstop service from Houston to Atlanta and Cincinnati will begin in April. Flights to Atlanta will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and flights to Cincinnati will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Sierra Nevada Corporation's Space Systems will join private companies SpaceX and Orbital ATK in operating at least six flights each between 2019 and 2024. 

The roll out at Hobby Airport is well underway, and customers are seeing exciting brands that were not offered previously, such as Dylan’s Candy Bar, Brookstone, Yia Yia Mary’s, Chick-fil-A and XpresSpa.
